Mount Mercy University President Christopher Blake announced today that the university is seeking comments from the public about Mount Mercy University in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.
Mount Mercy will host a review visit with a team from the Higher Learning Commission on February 18-19, 2013. The University’s current accreditation was last granted in 2003, and the University has been in continuous accreditation through the Commission since 1949. The Higher Learning Commission team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.
