Mount Mercy University is happy to announce an educational partnership with The Meth-Wick Community.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Meth-Wick Community,” said Dr. Tim Laurent, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “The benefits to both organizations are outstanding, and we’re happy to foster this relationship as we continue to prepare health care leaders into the future.”

The partnership provides a 10 percent tuition discount—which applies to The Meth-Wick Community employees who enroll in any of the university’s accelerated, online or graduate programs—as well as relevant academic programs, access to internships, employment opportunities for MMU alumni, and a variety of other shared benefits.

“Over the past several years, The Meth-Wick Community and Mount Mercy University have partnered together to enrich the lives of our residents through the M&M Scholars series,” said Barb Teply, director of human resources at Meth-Wick. “Meth-Wick is proud of our staff and their commitment in pursuing their career aspirations. MMU’s dedication to higher education makes this a great collaboration and it will be an excellent benefit to our employees who are pursuing their nursing and healthcare administration degrees.”

Mount Mercy holds similar educational partnerships with more than 30 local organizations.
