Mount Mercy University will offer ExploreU@MMU'13 World of Technology from June 4 - 8 on the Mount Mercy University campus. The one-week summer program is tailored for young girls completing sixth, seventh and eighth grades, and designed to provide fun while learning about science and math.
Through the program, students will learn: programming using scratch, analyzing patterns, integration of math and computer science, 3D visualization and more. Participates will also have the opportunity to engage in an exciting treasure hunt.
The program will run June 4 - 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mount Mercy's campus located at 1330 Elmhurst Drive NE, Cedar Rapids. Registration for this program is $50, and forms can be accessed online at www.mtmercy.edu/exploreu. Mail completed registration forms and check to:
